I teach Flow, Vinyasa, Fascia Yoga, Restorative and Yin Yoga to groups, individuals and at the workplace.

For me yoga is awareness of the self in the world (physically, but not only), as well as the ability in the moment to act compassionately and skillfully towards oneself and others. It is with this aim in mind that I teach.

And that is why my teaching combines embodied (felt) anatomy tools, self-inquiry, and of course movement/poses/breath focus. Physically my work allows the whole body to stretch, strengthen, mobilise and gain mobility, affecting the health of all body parts and systems, and primarily a good regulation of the nervous system. Simultaneously, it develops focus and brings attention to what you sense/feel/think do in the moment and how you relate to it.

In this way you realise how you are and what you need, and can build unity between body, mind and emotions, from which to find balance on your terms.

A playful and mindful flow to enliven, strengthen and develop mobility
The class is based on a theme and base movement sequence that evolve through the practice to deepen your understanding of your body, and a chance to explore what the theme means to you. It incorporates spiral and circular motions, waves and bounces into a traditional asana practice. Structured around a specific body part, movement type or quality, it is based on gentle warm ups, and a set sequence mixing vinyasa, fascia yoga and feldenkrais. The sequence is repeated to find a flow state, and at given points gives each person the chance to find the unique way their body wants to move from there. I offer students inspiration, but encourage individuals to find a way to move that feels good and supportive to them on that day.

A class to release, relax and refresh
This class combines gentle stretching according to fascia yoga principles, with yin poses to support deep release in the tissues, and profound balancing and relaxation of the nervous system. It can be taught bilingually, German/English, depending on the participants present . The class combines soft repetitive stretch, rolling movements with yin poses, and often also a focus on easing the breath. This combination helps us regain smoothness and ease in the connective tissues (the fascia specifically). It is also the bridge to rebuilding a sense of our body and to develop interoception (the sense of how and what we feel inside), and with that to become more present and better able to care for ourselves, as well as to calm down the nervous system. The class is accessible to all levels and body types, and you are encouraged to modify movements and poses based on how they feel.

Vinyasa and embodiment work for intermediate to advanced level: A sequencing of movements and asanas to flow the breath to all the right places, and develop greater presence and awareness. Fun, challenging and mindful thanks to a different way of moving from the ground on up and getting into poses, this is for those seeking a yoga that is spiritual and translatable into everyday life, and that explores the incredible abilities already present in their bodies. This class incorporates time for journalling, so bring pen and paper as yoga can give us great insight about ourselves.

This class is for all those who need deep rest and a reset. It purposefully uses a variety of props to support the body in finding rest, taking time to soften into a maximum of 3 poses. It uses simple self-regulation techniques for the nervous system at the start to put the body in the right state to benefit deeply from the poses.

It is designed to combine stability with mobility, strength with flexibility to keep the body supple and strong, whilst releasing deep seated tensions and restrictions. Ideal for those with some want to understand the biomechanics of the body, and to build a safe and sustainable practice.
