As kids we dream big, think anything possible, and have a bubbling creativity. Then at school we have to follow rules, fit in and are only evaluated on how well we do at a narrow range of tasks. Though crucial, the school system is often unable to tap into the limitless potential present in kids because it is all about grades and academic results, so that performing in a restricted number of fields becomes what matters. More often than not it means a large part of ourselves goes quiet, if not forgotten.

In these two workshops we will guide kids through a exploration of what a super hero really is, their qualities and what it takes to be one. We will then use yoga, dance and music to help them dig out, polish and nurture their unique super powers. We will put together a super hero pack so that they can have a reminder of the treasures they hold inside even when the going gets tougher.
